Session Rates

Desert Ridge Therapy understands that therapy is an investment of your valuable time, energy, and resources. Before taking the leap, I offer a complimentary 15 min consultation. We can address any questions you have and discuss how Desert Ridge Therapy can help with your specific concerns.

50 min individual session | $180

50 min couple/family | $200

All sessions are conducted via video or phone conferencing, and clients must be located in the state of California or Arizona. Typically, meetings are weekly or bi-weekly. For the first month, weekly sessions are recommended to establish rapport and build a foundation for therapeutic growth.

Consultations:

Therapy consultations are FREE. They are 15 minutes and conducted virtually or on the phone. Once we decide to move forward therapy sessions can be face-to-face or virtually depending on your preference. You can schedule your consultation online.

Cancellation policy:

Please give 24 hours notice if you are unable to make your appointment (otherwise session will be charged in-full). In the event of an emergency or extenuating circumstances, policy will be waived.

Insurance considerations:

Desert Ridge Therapy is considered “out of network”. Some insurance companies provide reimbursement for “out of network” therapy. I highly suggest inquiring with your provider about whether reimbursement is possible. Although I don’t work directly with insurance companies, I can provide a “superbill” to you for reimbursement purposes.

Good faith estimate: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. The estimated costs are valid for 12 months from the date of the Good Faith Estimate. This estimate will include service codes and any diagnostic codes that may have been determined.

For more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit CMS.gov website.
